					Zambezi National Park Zambezi National Park and Victoria Falls National Park cover an area of 40 kms along the Zambezi which also forms border of Zimbabwe and Zambia for much of its length. Lodges are set against the banks of the gently flowing Zambezi in an open park like setting.

					Animals & Birds Elephant, lion, buffalo, and leopard as well as herds of sable antelope, eland, zebra, giraffe, kudu, waterbuck and impala and many smaller species can be viewed. The river is home to a large variety of fish and is famous for its bream and fighting tiger fish. Birding is plentiful with typical river species such as egrets, herons, cormorants, and ospreys.
				Notable Facts Zambezi offers many unique tourism options including; boat cruises - both day and night, moonlight viewing - a unique opportunity which takes place during periods of the full moon. Other activities include; guided canoe tours, bungee jumping, whitewater rafting, helicopter, balloon and microlight flights over the Falls.
					Visiting Dry Season (May - Oct) As with most of Zimbabwe, the dry season is the best for animal viewing, with temperatures increasing towards November, but relatively low humidity. Wet Season (Nov - April) Humidity and temperatures increase along with the volume of water over Victoria Falls.
